Whatever time you show up is fine; I'd say ten o'clock or before would be ideal. Thanks for having us all over, Bru, I had quite a bit of fun (even though I am phenomenally bad at volleyball). I do appreciate the nice sets you gave me on purpose, even if you weren't always on my team. =P

My get-together starts at 7 pm on Sunday for anyone able to come. Oh, and in other news, I'll be leaving a day earlier for Portland than I thought. People from Dad's work are taking the company plane out to PDX for a meeting and so I'm ... going with them. Strangeness. They're leaving early Tuesday morning. I still get back the 22nd though. Anyone up for a movie day/night the 23rd? Who's doing the organization for The Bourne Identity Saturday? Anytime after four would be great.

( * goodnight ( *

Blogger 101

Alrighty, here's a crash course in blogger publishing. When making a post, I suggest you not write it in the actual posting area because blogger has been known to lose posts (and yes, that can be bad). Besides, there isn't a spellchecker anymore. Just write it in an e-mail and copy|paste it into here. Remember to hit the button Post & Publish not simply Publish or it won't actually go on the webpage, it'll just be saved down at the bottom part of the editor (where you make your posts) until someone actually publishes the thing. Remember to publish.

If you guys have access to the template (a button on the toolbar of the editor), please don't touch it. Let me know if you see any problems, but since I don't think any of you know HTML or CSS, I'd like to be the one at the moment who changes anything so that if I screw it up, at least I know what I did to do so. Thankies.

If you posted something and found a typo, something you'd like to change, etc., you can go back and edit the post (the bottom part of the posting screen lets you find your post and gives a link at the bottom to edit them). Just remember to post & publish again so that the changes go into effect.

Let me know if you have any questions. One last request of you all: post often! We want to hear about your day, your thoughts about music today, see interesting stuff you've read, etc. To post links, hit the world looking button on the toolbar of the editor. You'll get something like this: [a href="http://www.blogger.com"][/a][ with < > instead of [ ]. Write the name of the link in-between the site address (after the closing >) and before the /a part. The same concept works for bold and italics: bold text and italic . Just remember the / means to end whatever it is—don't forget the closing tag. Write whatever you want bold/italic in-between the tags, in the >this< part. ; )

Have a wonderful evening, guys, and I'll see you tomorrow. Humanities is officially over!

I've added a comment link so you can respond directly to a post if you can't/don't wish to write one of your own. I'll get us a guestbook later tonight and add some descriptions of us tonight or tomorrow; I spent half an hour fighting with my own blog and am done for now. Hopefully you guys start posting soon else it'll just be Bru and I—what a combination. ^.^

Welcome to the Immortals of 182's place to keep in touch through the summer and freshman year of college. Hopefully Solomon can figure out how these things work; he's a little slow sometimes. ^.^
