Hear Ye, Hear Ye

Announcing the first College Break Movie Night

Details: This fantastic trip down memory lane with start with a new experience for some. Yes, that’s right, an all-expenses-paid (by you) trip to Tokyo Diner! Following a sumptuous meal, tour members will reconvene at The Goddess’ house to reacquaint themselves with long-overdue sacrifices (or the wrath of Yarblek Boris Brubrackgramaksmy). Delicacies such as the must-missed food will be served, all of it containing the highest quality fats, oils, and sodium.

Entertainment: For your viewing pleasure, only the finest films in American and British cinema will be shown. Should any member of the tour have suggestions, please write to The Goddess and she will arrange things accordingly.

Fine Print: Any number of sacrifices will be acceptable and expected including, but not limited to, candy, chocolate, bouncy balls, yo-yos, plants, cookies, cake, sherbet, Starbucks® coffee, eleventy-kagillion-dollars, winning lottery tickets, complete ownership and rights to the Moon, and copyright priviledges of the word “they.” (see here for full the explanation of a brilliant plan.) Feel free to exceed these expectations.

In Summary: Movie Night. The Goddess’ House. Friday, the day after Thanksgiving. Dinner expedition around 6:30, strip poker, bungee-jumping, and hardcore pictionary to be announced.

Never fear, the Goddess is still alive though she tends to post on her own personal blog more frequently than this one. As her assistant, I (Mervin), have been handling those infernal instant messages you all continually send. The Loyal High Eunuch presumed to speak with the Goddess immediately--how naive! She is not at his beck and call, especially because she has not yet recieved any sacrifices since coming to this institution of higher learning.

I wish you all a wonderful day. Assuming you could get an A+, I offer you the opportunity to take any exams for the Goddess you wish. This week: Astronomy and Psychology.

Hey guys!

Just got to Penn State today. I needed help getting the internet setup (nice RAs...) but other than that things went off without a hitch. The fishtank survived (as did the fishies) and I've already climbed the stairs to my floor (the 8th) four times. I won't need to go to the gym if I do this everyday.

I wish everyone a wonderful time at school thus far and many new friends. Muse-y, packing takes longer than you think it will with all the last minute items. I wrote stuff down and still forgot a couple things. Perhaps the Goddess isn't perfect after all. (Nah...)

Actually, Solomon, I had a splendid time in Lancaster County with my pool. Mwahaha. You'll have to come swimming after work on Thursday or Friday. Most definitely.

Hey, my pool has been open for use since ... well, a week or so after I got home from the Great Northwest. Yeah. So anytime you guys want to use it, that's fine. Call ahead to make sure somebody is home (the cover is closed usually when we're gone since the neighbor has little kids). I work Tuesday and Saturday, I think, and Wednesday is Penn State's arts and crafts fair thing. I invited Bru over tomorrow (well, today now that it is past midnight) to swim around three. Yep. Come on down.

(Can anyone tell I'm rambling? Didn't think so. hehe.)
